LSG has been instrumental in providing long-term Oracle DBA production support services for the Oklahoma Secretary of State. The services included reviewing the backup strategy, DBA mentoring, database and SQL statement performance troubleshooting, tuning and software patching. LSG also completed complex recoveries of the production databases due to hardware failures.
Currently, LSG is providing its Remote Control Database service. This service enables the IT department to have a DBA monitor the Oracle environment proactively, without the cost burden of a full-time employee. LSG is also implementing fail-over environment with Oracle Data Guard.
